It has come to light that luxury loft apartments in Sydney have been evacuated and a currently sitting empty. While I understand why people can’t be expected to live in buildings that present a life safety risk, the number of buildings with serious defects points to systematics issues in the industry. I don’t have much confidence in the government’s band-aid solutions.
